TMMI09: Vibrations and fatigue in mechanical structures

For: MI during HT2, 2017

Solid mechanics is a fundamental science, which is vital as background knowledge in many applied engineering disciplines. Within solid mechanics, we study the interaction between loads applied on a body and the deformations and stresses arising. The material in the body can be of different kinds with different properties, and the ultimate goal is to design and give engineering components such dimensions that they will safely fulfil their desired technical function throughout the specified life.

This specific course aims at training in designing against failure by vibration and fatigue.
